May 30, 2010, we will be hosting the official closing of this year's full-year educational program
Step in the Future! During the event, the 35 participants from 4 orphanages in Sofia, Plovdiv and Berkovitsa, will demonstrate in unconventional group competitions some of the skills they have learned during the year - team work, effective communication, creative thinking, and presentation skills.

On Wednesday. March 24, Step for Bulgaria Foundation had its representatives meet some amazing INSEAD students at the INSEAD career fair. The day was full of exciting encounters and fascinating ideas that INSEAD students came up with as they listened to presentations and thoughts about our projects and our future initiatives.

On March 07, 2010, in Medford MA, the Bulgarian-American Center Madara hosted a festive concert to celebrate Bulgaria's independence day. This was a very special event for Step for Bulgaria Foundation as the organizers had graciously invited us to become the benefactors of their fundraising efforts for the day. The result was a marvelous success: $1200 raised for the STEP Bulgaria 2010 Summer Academy!

Our Foundation was one of the few non-profits at the forum, and the only organization focusing on the development of underprivileged Bulgarian youth...

On Dec 19, 2009, we had our Christmas party for the participants in the educational program Step in the Future! The 35 students participating presented their projects and Christmas greetings, among which dances, poems, plays and drawings. Four of the 15 or so projects were awarded special prizes...
