On Dec 19, 2009, we had our Christmas party for the participants in the educational program Step in the Future! The 35 students participating presented their projects and Christmas greetings, among which dances, poems, plays and drawings. Four of the 15 or so projects were awarded special prizes...
- for Most Innovative Project, the three-member jury selected the blog of a student from the "Assen Zlatarov" children's home. The first post was a long poem, describing all the members of the children's home staff

Best planned project was selected the project of the students Plovdiv children's home. They had spent about three weeks creating a design and an actual model of a farm
- for Best project team the jury selected the students from the children's home in Berkovitsa, who presented a beautiful Christmas dance
- the Special Jury Prize was awarded to the group from "Hristo Botev" children's home, who presented a fashion show dressed all in pink
Our special guests at the party were representatives of our parnter organizations and of media companies, as well as new friends. We thank sincerely the vice mayor of Berkovitsa who attended the event, as well as hour honorable jury of the students' projects. In addition to the project prizes, all students received Christmas gifts from Step for Bulgari foundation - books about leadership and communication, topics that we often discuss in our classes. Our volunteer trainers received special certificates for their dedicated service as well as books by Dalai Lama. Reporters from bTV and Evrokom covered the event.
